Cruising Tomorrow


The future of offshore and coastal cruising is to be debated at the RYA North West Region who are holding a conference at the Birchwood Conference Centre, Warrington on Saturday 14 March 2009 entitled: Cruising Tomorrow.

The keynote speaker will be Tom Cunliffe and other talks will be by Stuart Carruthers, the RYA's Cruising Manager and Gus Lewis, RYA Legal and Government Affairs Manager. Frank Singleton, the well-known met expert will discuss developments in weather forecasting and met information systems and Professor David Last, the immediate Past President of the Royal Institute of Navigation, will talk about vulnerabilities of satellite navigation.

For RYA Personal Members and members of affiliated clubs the cost of the day is £25, for Royal Institute of Navigation members £30 and for others £35. A buffet lunch is included.
